Looks like rainy season has begun in Costa Rica

Just checked the 7 day weather forecast for Grecia, where we’ll be staying. This week? Hi’s in low 80′s, lows in mid 60′s and almost every day a chance of rain. When we went to Costa Rica last year, it was about the same time of year that we’ll be going this year. We wanted to experience rainy season for ourselves. But, as it turned out, this part of rainy season is not as rainy as we thought it would be. There is usually morning sun, followed by an afternoon thunderstorm. The weather reminded me of the summers spent in the Colorado mountains, as we could  almost be guaranteed to get a  burst of rain almost daily in the afternoon. My understanding that the heavy rainy season isn’t until around October, so we’ll only get a taste of what’s to come when we’re there in just a short time from now. Since I now live in an area that hasn’t seen much rain over the years, I’m actually looking forward to getting a dose of daily showers. With no TV reception where we’re staying, it will force me to do other things… read a book or two, write more extensively in my blogs, sit on our covered deck and enjoy the beauty that will no doubt surround us. I’m starting to get excited about this next step on our journey and am looking forward to posting our videos and experiences while we explore our options for moving! Hasta Luego! Deb
